SNOWY SATURDAY..WITH MISS DAISY

Hello World...

Well, that's Christmas day over and I was so sure I would never eat again...but of course today is the end of boxing day and I'm eating again..
Hope you all had the most wonderful day on the 25th..my was exceptional as always...never laughed so much and all over the number 12..you really had to be there, but believe me it was sooo funny..
What a great day...

Today though it is SNOWY SATURDAY for MISS DAISY STAMPS  and I'm sharing another gorgeous snowy image from the store HERE

Awww..they are too cute...coloured with Copics and pencils...

Little red hearts and lots of layers..papers from my stash and love their fur trim which is thick glue and white flat  glitter..

DO YOU NEED A HUG!!

Hello Everyone...

I had a wonderful day off yesterday and had the g/sons, and also taught them the joy of Christmas..in public!!..All those sad faces wandering through town..so we played a game, and lent right into some peoples space and said very loud..MERRY CHRISTMAS..the boys thought it was so funny and most people smiled back and said Merry Christmas...and some DID NOT...great day had by all.

Although I do not get snow..it is Snowy Saturday time with MISS DAISY STAMPS  and I have a very big HUG for you from a snowman who has a very warm heart..

HUG A SNOWMAN  is a fabulous digi from Miss Daisy stamps..and here he is..

I made another mixed media canvas and started with an old phone book pages for a bit of background interest..

Layered on gelatos for the  sky and stencilled snowdrops with modelling paste...and lots of paste on the ground for the snowman to stand on..

The little sign post was coloured with Faber Castell pencils and the wonderful snowy tree is a plastic Christmas branch decoration which I found in the $2 shop and cut into three..

I then added large pom poms for snowballs and coloured the snowman with copics...

A few more punched snowflakes with sparkly gems and he was all done..a lot of fun to colour and make up..kept me entertained all afternoon...

Delightful Thursday time with Digital Delights   and I'm going to share on of my most favourite cute images from the Digital Delights Store  ..

This is Donny and Slippy 

Are they not cute!!...All coloured with Faber Castell pencils and one red copic Ciao R27..

Marianne fence and tree dies..lots of modelling paste for snow with a sprinkle of glitter while paste still wet....flower soft on their hat trims and little pom poms too..

All this cuteness and the fuzzy wuzzy feeling just makes me want to eat chocolate...so I will, and I will see you all tomorrow.

SNOWY SATURDAYS WITH MISS DAISY

Hello Everyone...Snowy Saturday...well, that would be nicewhile I'm typing up a snowy post at 31oC...
and it is 6.30pm...wonder if it will cool before bedtime?

Anyway, sticky, yucky heat aside, I'm here with my first official post for MISS DAISY STAMPS
and we..[ the Design Team] are show casing the SNOW BUDDYCOLLECTION..and this is exactly who this wee chap is...meet,  SNOW BUDDY 

He is all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils...the background took quite awhile but it came out pretty good...

A closer view and showing his gel pen snow dots...and glittered trims...

A side view...lovely thick layers and the papers are Couture Creations Vintage Christmas..and a Memory box fir tree branch die..

The sentiment is also from MISS DAISY STAMPS  called Snowman sayings 2  [just click the link]

Where the heART is..challenge #4

Hello Everyone...

I had a very strange and rather pleasing experience today..
Where I live we have a very long main road lined with palm trees and there are a lot of pigeons living in them...today I was driving along from one client to the next and had a feeling I was not alone..looked to my right, and there, flying along side me was this beautiful white pigeon..and he stayed there for a whole block, through the traffic lights[  which were green by the way] and on up the road for about 200 yards...so strange, never had that happen before..then he just flew off to his right and disappeared...left me feeling really strange and wanting to shout to anyone who would listen "did you see that"...but the road is quite fast and no one probably noticed, but I had that feeling most of the day, like I had a secret or something..really nice.

Anyway...why are we here today...

Time for a new challenge #4 at Where the heART is  and thank you all who joined us last time another fabulous turnout and lovely big number of gorgeousness for me to surf through.

This time round we want to see your CHRISTMAS COLOURS and I guess that could mean what your Christmas colours are..mine of course are the red/green/white and splash of gold..and another canvas with the lovely image from our sponsor...That Craft Place  .

Red/Green/White and gold is there...tiny little gold stars...heaps of them...

This little sweetie is called Big Present  ...coloured with Copic Ciaos, Reno Markers and Faber Castell pencils...

The background was textured with modelling paste...die cut pine branches..snowflakes and green Gelatos...

A close up of the pretty girl all fussy cut out and with her fluffy trims..and if you look real close you may see one or two of the 300 gold stars..

Dimension with the baby pinecones and red/white pom poms, and the green and red ribbons..I did try to stop, really I did, but just kept adding stuff..

Added more snowflakes cause I bought a new punch and lots of texture paste to the pine cones..

Had a lot of fun with this one...so hope you can come and join in with us at Where the heART is  You can do cards or altered objects, mixed media..all sorts, just show " Christmas Colours.."

DELIGHTFUL THURSDAY TIME WITH DIGITAL DELIGHTS..

Hello Everyone...

WOW!!..Thursday already...my day off tomorrow, cannot wait for that to happen as I have a few things I need to do..BUT..shall I annoy you now..my shopping for Christmas is all done and wrapped...I'm so pleased with myself.

So here we are on a Thursday afternoon..a light breeze wafting through the lounge..a very hot, but beautiful day and writing my post to put onto schedule and then I'm off to play...

A new release this December from Digital Delights  today as it is the first Thursday of the month and tey are all so adorable..

I was given this little sweetie called Swinging Ginger  so that is what I tried to do..

I made, and I think it is my first aperture card...

Little Ginger was coloured with Faber Castell pencils and a touch of glitter on his trim..

He was then fussy cut out and added to the front of the card...with one of the Memory box trees..[ the other 2 are inside the card.

Magnolia snowflakes glued around...

And no design papers in sight...I made snow slopes inside with the trees and forgot to take a photo..
