Challenge #30 with Lacy Sunshine -

Hello Everyone...

A sunny Sunday late afternoon and just finished work...having mini pies for tea with bread and butter and I have 2 marshmellow Easter eggs which leapt off the counter into my basket while I was buying milk...so what could I do [ahem..cough cough..]

Onto  a new challenge at Lacy Sunshine  today.. and the theme this week is..

Add Flowers...easy peasy..

Now this one is NOT an intentional no lines image and colouring..I ran out of ink..and this is how she printed out...

Meet Flower Pot Pretties - Daisy Ann 

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and a few copics...

 

 

  And then lots and lots of WOC Daisies...cant even see the papers underneath...but they are MME Glittered card..

A bow and butterflies and punched leaves and Daisy was good to go...

AN EASTER WAGON

Hello Everyone...another hot Autumn day but have this afternoon off and scheduling this card as I'm boy sitting after school...working this evening.. and then cooking the family meal at theirs...so rush rush rush...but then weekend is nearly here and that makes me happy....

But for now a cute and simple wee card using the ever gorgeous Clementine Easter 2 from the Easter/Spring collection at Stampfairy

There she is...all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils....eggs done with Copics and added spots and a twine bow...

Paper are MME 'A Mothers Love"...and made the eggs with the smallest oval die from Spellbinders.

A little squiggle line around the edge and plopped on a bow and there is a simple Easter card all ready to go...

TAKE SOME TIME TO SMELL THE FLOWERS

Hello Everyone...

Ooo...a hot one again today...what a funny Autumn...

So if you do get time to smell the flowers...be very careful..you never know who will pop out of the pots...

LOOK!!..it is Barry...you silly Bear hiding in the flower pots..

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and I used these fabulous flower pots freebies again and reduced their size to place along the bottom of my card..

Barry Spring 3  from Stampfairy  of course...

There's a closeup  of the pots and his little buddy the freebie snail.. and seed beads for dirt..torn card stock too for more dirt...

The side view...papers are Authentique [Comfort and Familiar] and MB Gloriosa Vine and the tiny peg with the ladybug from my stash...added a couple of butterflies punched out of corrugated card...

And there we have it..on this hot and humid Tuesday..

A BUTTERFLY PRINCESS

Hello Everyone...

We have drizzle rain today [Saturday]...a full moon which we canot see due to the thick cloud..BUT!!..I can tell..lol..'My Ladies' are up to high jinx today and I have my work cut out for me..

But for this afternoon I have a peaceful time and playing in my craft space...and found this little beauty that I have not posted..so here she is...

Butterfly Princess From Lacy Sunshine  ....

She is so very pretty and such a lovely image to colour..which I did with Faber Castell pencils and a peach copic...

Added tiny gems on her arm and slathered her wings with glitter...

The gorgeous butterfly is from my stash and just added some pearls to her feelers..

The orange ribbon from my stash also and the fabulous flowers from WOC...

Used the typewriter sentiment alphabet for the 'Dream' sentiment...

A cheery Lyn leaf vine die and some pearl hearts...MME papers 'Bramble Rose'..and decorated inside too..

Really loved making this card...

GONE FISHING!!

Hello everyone...

Was driving along today down a street called Munroe street and it is lined with trees and really quite pretty especially since it is in town and the street is filled with parked cars...but today I never saw cars..it is blowing quite strong and as I turned into the street.. the leaves..thousands of them just blew across the road...really quite beautiful..all those gorgeous Autumn colours and they floated over and under the car..sigh..I love Autumn...

Anyhow..we are not here for Autumn leaves and deep emotional bliss..we are here for a  new card using another fabulous image from STAMPFAIRY

Now that is a real fisherman...bear!....sailing all alone across the vast Seas and all he got for his trouble is an old boot..

I googled gumboots and this was the best image...so shrunk it down...coloured it up...and fussy cut it out..added beads along the bottom and used my Friskars wave punch.

And the side view...Barry all coloured up with Faber Castell pencils and the sky papers I have had forever from  Bird..added a good luck sentiment and this card is on it's way to a man who is going fishing for 3 days and giving his wife some peace..[her words not mine]..I would never think like that..[ahem]..

So there we go...Friday today..[end of mine ]so starting to enjoy it..I have Easter eggs on hand.. for inspiration of course.. as I have Easter cards to get on with.

"DOWN ON THE FARM" WITH CRAFTY LITTLE FAIRIES

Hello Everyone...


A beautiful sunshine day today but the clouds are rolling in tonight and looks like rain for tomorrow...but all good as it is Friday tomorrow..yay!!..

Today is Thursday though and time for a new challenge at Crafty Little Fairies and with a great theme of "Down on the Farm"...

For my card this week I used this gorgeous "Precious Moments" image "Boy and Pig"...coloured with copics and pencils..then I fussy cut the image out.

I made the hills with green cardstock and behind them added a "Couture Creations" die called "Forest"...

Inked up the sky using distress ink - 'Broken China'  and a make up sponge..

Then came the Marianne Fence...glitter and glossy accents in the water and punched the heart with my new punch..

No designer papers...almost a CAS card but with details...lol..

A CAS CARD

Hello Everyone...back today to share a card I made on the weekend..and trying my hand at another CAS card...for a man this time.

This neat stamp is from "Impression Obsession [clingables]...two stamps really both birds facing the opposite way to each other...and yes..I have one walking on water..lol..wasn't thinking at the time.

There is the card front with a beautiful verse that came in the stamp set...matted in navy blue card...birds coloured with pencils..

The card open...simple matting inside too...

IT'S A GOBLIN'S LIFE FOR STAMPFAIRY

Hello Everyone...hope your week is going well...even though it has just started!!

Tuesday today and I'm here to share a DT card for STAMPFAIRY  ....and nothing is cuter [exept for Barry] than this little fellow...Garden Goblin

Is he cute or what?...he is from one of the older collections and I think he is adorable..

Coloured with Faber Castell pencils and a red copic...R17

The whites spots on the toadstools are done with a hand punch..and each one glued on...yes..it took awhile..lol..

The fabulous mushroom dies..'Cheery Lynn mushrooms.'.from Annie....and the dragon flies from Manderly.[I have been so spoilt]

The ribbons.. both from my stash and the  papers are 'Authentique' - Comfort and Familiar'..getting near the ends of these pads and starting to panic as I'm not going back to Australia this year for my annual 5 days off..lol....

The big mushroom and the goblins hat are both 3D and I really like this card so might just have to keep him..

WEATHER UPDATE AND DT FOR LACY SUNSHINE

Hello Everyone...just sitting here munching on a marshmallow Easter egg...[gotta get primed in time for Easter]...and the sun is shinning again after the horrific winds and rain yesterday as cyclone Lusi shot down from the Islands of Vanuatu heading toward New Zealand..but it did loose some puff and the weather..although severe.. was not as bad as expected..thank goodness.

So now on this much calmer day.. I'm here to share my DT card for Lacy Sunshine  and this week we have a favourite for all.. and our theme is "Anything Goes"

My gorgeous image is called Lizabeth Butterfly Kisses and can be found at Lacy Sunshine Shop  ...she was a delight to colour in Faber Castell pencils and copics...

And there she is in all her decoration gorgeousness..

PEACE AND LOVE BABY!!

Hello Everyone...

YAY!! it is Friday...but the smile has been wiped off my face as I have just learnt that Cyclone Lusi is on it's way down from the North and we are under Civil Defense watch and may loose power etc...so better get my posts scheduled for the weekend...once they are in cyber space they should pop up on time even if I'm down..

Today I'm here to share a card I made using this fun image from Lacy Sunshine

Eleanor Hippie Chick ..

She is coloured up with Pencils and Copics and the tiny flowers around the edge is a very small wooden stamp...had it for years..just stamped and coloured and added liquid pearls..

Ahhh..then went crazy with colours...all Hippies love colours man...lol..

Orange and purple card stock...wonderful flower buttons dotted about and a MB flower die.

The 'Love' sentiment is the typewriter keys again...quite like this..
and an orange bow to finish off...

EASTER IS COMING

Hello Everyone....

March is half way through..nearly...and Easter just around the corner..okay..it is 5 weeks away...but I went to the store today and there are Eggs and Bunnies everywhere...I was in chocolate Heaven and forgot what I went in there for in the first place...and Yes ..I came out with a bunnie or two..and an egg..marshmellow..soft and yummy and had that little orange centre in the middle...mmmm...

Speaking of Bunnies...I have a cute little one to share with you today from... STAMPFAIRY  ...

This is Clementine Easter 1  and there she is sitting in the grass painting her Eggs ready for Easter....

It's a beautiful day...with light clouds [Memory Box]...a garden full of flowering tulips [Couture Creations 'Ferretti"]...Marianne Creatables fence and butterflies..birds and birdhouse...

There is a side view showing my beautiful Cheery Lyn Designs "Mushroom dies" from my blogging buddy [I love them..]...loads of eggs in all sorts of colours that Clementine coloured..[spellbinders smallest oval die]...

and the other side...the Tree trunk was stamped onto the card...a red rubber stamp set from ??..cant remember, had it for years..sorry..and I added the Memory box tree tops ..and Oh! did you see the little cat on the peg sitting on the fence..my new purchase from the $2 shop..too cute.

Well..that's me done...so great to be typing and blogging again..and I can colour too...

The bad finger was from a tiny cut in my second knuckle and must have caught a bug as 9 days later it blew up like a big purple balloon and sooo darn sore..but all better now.. and thank you all so very much for your kind get well wishes ..they all worked and I'm up and running around again like there is no tomorrow.

The East Wind Challenge  'use a digi'  and this is the sweet one they supplied...

Isn't she just beautiful..so angelic.

Loved colouring her up using Faber Castell colouring pencils and made her into a strawberry blond.

The gorgeous papers a digi papers from 'Jennifers Doll house papers'..just have to google this as I cant find my link..

The flowers are Marianne Creatables dies and I just added a pearl in the centre...the white rose is from my stash...

The side view...I'm typing as fast as I can ...having been out of action I only have 2 hours to go to enter this cutie...

A SAD GOODBYE FROM MAKE IT MONDAY

Hello Everyone....

Yes!.. it is a sad day as this is our last MAKE IT MONDAY 

It has been a fantastic journey and my very first DT all those years ago and have loved every minute of it.
I have worked with a fabulous group of ladies..a wonderful boss Michelle and enjoyed hoping around and commenting on all the wondeful paper projects you have all shared over the years..I will miss MIM and all of you so much.

But for this week at least we are still here and have a fabulous fun sponsor Lee Holland

I was given this cute little image to play with..Boy With Present

Isn't he cute..I coloured his hair and skin with Faber Castell pencils...paper pieced  his clothes and gift..and coloured the bow with a red copic.

The corner details and wooden frog are from my stash....

Added some squiggle lines and decorated the inside too..

JUST SNEAKING ON TO SAY HI!....

Hello Everyone..

Gee..I'm having withdrawals sitting here with my hand up resting...driving me crazy..so thought it would not hurt just to sneak on here and say Hi!..and share a card I made on Wednesday night..just for fun.

I made a flowerpot card..

The flower pot was a freebie colouring page and it is a handy image to have..all I did was made it as big as it would go..hand cut it out using a Manila folder then inked it up with orange and brown inks...

Then made some smaller ones along the bottom.

Gave Lenny Bee from Stampfairy an airing...hovering over the top of the pot...

and sweet little Clementine too..

Added some Cheery Lyn vines and flowers sprigs from Memory box which were paper pieced to get the different coloured flowers...

The tiny flowers on the vines are flower beads.

Added a good luck sign as this has gone to a new gardener in the making..

YAY!! THE WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE

Hello Everyone..

The weekend is almost here and my Doctor was just lovely today..

He didn't try to lance my finger..just gave me loads of antibiotics and I go back on Monday for another looksee..and then he will probably do something drastic..hmm...like lancing it...but..if these  antibiotics do there job over the weekend..and they are very powerful ones..I maybe okay..I am unable to colour..ink..glue...type..[oop's]..for the entire weekend. I must keep my hand up by my shoulder and rest it...the poison has spread up my hand in two red lines and travelling up my arm past my wrist now..so he must stop that...here's hoping.

But thought I could just sneak on and share a card I coloured and made awhile ago now...
