Hello Everyone..

WOW!..been awhile..but happy to say I'm here to share another card although it has taken me 3 days to find it..

Most of my files are now on the new computer [in triplicate!!..don't ask]..and new photos of cards are now being put on the new computer..somewhere.. so sooner or later I will have to start posting on it...

For now I'm tucked away on the other side of my craft room using my old faithful PC...slow but at least I know where things are.

Have a vintage Birthday card to share today, made before Christmas and already gone to its new owner..I added a sentiment and the right birth number after the photos were taken so she is a bit naked..

This beautiful image is from the Graphics Fairy..and I think she looks just lovely sitting there in  deep thought.

There's the whole card..lace,flowers,netting and pearls all from my stash of bits and pieces...

I love the little bird on a branch charm..that was in my candy win from Pia

And the side view...

Well, before this PC blows up..I had better sign off as it is soooo very slow and not very happy.

Hope the weekend went well for you all..I'm on Monday afternoon already and the grand sons are on their way round as Mum is off to do the shopping and they don't want to go...

Thanks so much for stopping by and I will see you again on Thursday if not before..

I will go find where my photos are on this windows 8 many places to look ,and hopefully can start posting from there soon..

See you later..

Hello everyone...

I'm a bit late with my post this week as my internet kept going down over the weekend and I got plain fed up...

A new challenge has started over at Lacy Sunshine  and this time we are looking at...

"WINTER BLISS"...not too sure if anyone loves Winter ..but here in the middle of a stinking hot summer I could enjoy a polar blast for a day or two..
For my card this week I was able to play with Eleanor and Pickles  and I love these two characters.

Quite a big card as I printed the image big so I could see it all..and not a very steady hand with copics.

A lot of fun to colour though...tons of snow and a grass punch lathered with snowy glitter for the top border.
Chip board stickers from my stash and glittered card stock.

Enjoying using my copics more and more but still use my pencils for a lot of my skin..the sign board and shading over the copics..

Cute little pair...

So post done..late.. but up and on my old PC...slow but sure..
I have the man coming today to give me lessons on my new computer and help me find my  stuff on windows 8.1..that should be interesting..

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love..

Entering this challenge..

Crafty Hazelnuts extra challenge   [anything goes as long as it is Christmas]

see you tomorrow..

Hello Everyone...

I'm attempting to use my new computer for posting a card.[.always sneak over to the old one for up loading photos]...

I found this sweet card in my basket and never got round to blogging her or adding a sentiment..but thought I would share it anyway...

Well, that didn't work so back on the old girl...hope she can hold out..

I have named her "Girl with Bird"..a gorgeous image from [I think]..the Graphics Fairy.

A close up...very sweet.

And the side view...She could be Birthday or even Christmas..

Papers from Couture, swirls and Gauze from my stash..

So there we go...a few more laying around in my files so will try to post them up a bit more often..

So very hot and sticky and we need rain desperately...our East coast is getting into a very dangerous situation...fires are banned and still nitwits are out there watering their grass!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and all the lovely sweet comments you leave me...really appreciate them all...

Off to my sons now as I'm cooking the tea for 10 and my flat is way too small to have that lot here.

See you tomorrow.

Tell me story, tell me story
Tell me story, remember what you said
You promised me you said you would
You got to give in so I'll be good
Tell me a story, then I'll go to bed

Hello everyone..remember that song..gosh! I listened to it again on google and never realise what awful singing it was..but I loved the kids verse of this song..

And that message brings us to a book card I was asked to make...using the star image of the book "BARRY" from the now closed stampfairy.

This book card was made for a young fellow who thought his Mum was a worry wart and a nag...UNTIL..

Names have been changed and Barry is being the stand in...

Was a fine beautiful Summers day up the coast of a very popular beach in New Zealand..Piha [Peeha]

Young Barry wanted to go fishing and his Mum said it would be okay BUT..only if he stayed on the small jetty and didn't wander off, as there is a lot of danger under the sea and you cannot see it until it is too late....[nag nag nag...muttered Barry]

So off he went to the jetty with his fishing pole and bucket and started his day fishing...[what dangers!!...such a worry wart.]

Mmmm..I wonder!!

Barry soon became pretty bored sitting on the jetty and decided his Mum would never know if he went further down the beach and fished off the rocks...[the big boys do it all the time]

It wasn't long before the tide turned and it became a bit choppy as he watched his bucket float away..

Suddenly a small dolphin leapt out the water not too far away from the rocks and gave Barry a bit of a start...but he was happy to see him though..although the sea was getting choppier by the minute.

He did think he should make his way back...but it was too late. The tides and freak waves in Piha were too quick and the biggest wave came over the top of the rocks and swept Barry into the sea.

Thanks to the Piha lifeguards and the West pack Helicopter rescue service..Barry was quickly located and rescued...he was taken to the local hospital, checked out and then could go home..

Mothers do know best and this young lad had a very scary fright and I'm sure next time he will listen to Mum...

There's the whole book card and really loved how my glass table reflected up and made the scene more watery..

Thanks so much for stopping by...I will try to come on more but have just been so busy with cards and cards with matching boxes..working and relieving with other clients..

Phew..who said I was going to slow down in 2015..oh! me that's who..well I never listen to myself anyway..

See you Thursday..or maybe tomorrow.
